Led by Conductor Wanjun Qiao, 25 singers from Boston Eastern Heritage Chorus and NACA will attend the 2011 Serenade! Choral Festival in Washington, DC from June 23 to June 26.
On Saturday, June 25, the team will perform six Chinese folk songs at a joint concert with Konevets Quartet (Russia), UCCSA Broadhurst Choir (Bostwana), and Pacific Boychoir (Grammy-winner from California). The song selections include 茉莉花, 远方的客人请你留下来, 半个月亮爬上来 , 梁山伯与祝英台,大海故乡, 瑶山夜歌. On Sunday, June 26, the grand finale concert with selected choruses will be held at Strathmore Hall.
